There is enough flouride in toothpaste if used properly more is not needed It will be to much which is bad for you SO190EA Jean Corneby
I want to choose which medication my children/family use not have it forced upon me. SO40 9AR Simon Rickman
I resent having harmful chemicals poured into me simply because a minority of people care so little for their own dental wellbeing. Poisoning the masses for the sake of a minority is immoral and unacceptable in a democracy. SO45 6AS Alan Mills
My wife has Lupus. Her medical consultant at Southampton General Hospital told her to avoid toothpaste with Fluoride in it!!! So what is she supposed to drink? SO504PE Russell King
message for Andy Burnham: YOU may be able to afford 'Evian' but most pensioners (like myself) and single-parent families like my daughter's cannot. We cannot even afford to run a car in order to fetch it all home. Once again further evidence, if any were needed, of many MP's being totally out of touch with the real world. I was thinking of moving to Hants and bringing my daughter and her tiny children with me for a greener life outside London. However, I do not want ANYONE forcefully medicating me or my family without our prior consent. Their arrogance is breathtaking. I am watching Hants campaign against flouridation with much interest and I wish them all the best of luck. Could adding fluoride to local water supplies possibly affect local property values? I think it could. KT3 6LF linda holligan
No to fluoridation, yes to choice! No toxic chemicals in our water!! SO16 A.Shears
Fluoride is a toxin that should not be added to the water supply. In a democracy, people should have the choice to take fluoride or reject it because of health concerns. The SHA's campaign was biased and one-sised in favour of fluoridation. The York review did not find any good scientific studies to prove the safety or efficacy of fluoride, world-wide. We should reject fluoridation until it can be proven to be safe, and then it should be administered to those in need, not the population as a whole.Dental hygiene and health should always be promoted as the best way to have healthy teeth. I believe that the negative effects outweigh the positive effects SO40 7GF Philip Carre
Fluoride is a poison, this should not be forced on us. As it is now our water tastes as if it comes from the local swimming pool. SO40 4XR S.Jenkins
Mass medication of fluoride is not only done against our will but is also done against the advice of a large number of health professionals. It WILL do more harm than good, but at least they wont have to pay to dispose of it legally. Fluoride is a toxic waste product after all. PO12 1PL Tanith
